Yellow Resistance F2850 Polyaspartic Polyurea Resin

 

There is a development of a new class of aliphatic polyurea polymer systems. These systems are based on the reaction of polyaspartic ester compounds (a type of secondary aliphatic amine with aliphatic polyisocyanate). Polyaspartic ester-based polyurea topcoats are non-yellowing and exhibit good outdoor weathering and long pot life. The moderately fast reactivity, combined with the relatively low viscosity of the polyaspartic ester compounds, allows for a broader range of applications in two-component coatings.

Ⅱ Properties and application

●FEISPARTIC F2850 is Aminofunctional co-reactant for polyisocyanates,it’s the same model as NH2850 XP, could be used for the formulation of high-solids, two-component polyurethane topcoats and solvent-free coating materials

 

● FEISPARTIC F2850 could serve as chain extender or R component in polyurea coating. It could also react with –NCO functional HDI trimmer from which longer gelling time and excellent yellow resistance can be achieved. Longer gelling time can also be obtained when reacting with MDI pre-polymer. Hybrid of polyurea and polyurethane can be achieved when FEISPARTIC F2850 is blended with hydroxyl-functional resin such as acrylic, alkyd resin. FEISPARTIC F2850 offers higher solid content and faster drying time than ordinary polyurethane. It is widely applied on formulating variety of protective coatings.

 

● Main Feature

1. Lower viscosity, can be reactive diluent of polyaspartic ester resin coatings.

2. Could be made into environmental coatings which has high solid content with low viscosity.

4. Paint film has excellent combination of rebound resilience, leveling, gloss and handfeel.

5. Paint film can offer excellent low temperature flexibility, waterproof and solvent resistance as well as acid and alkali resistance etc.

6. Can react with our elastic curing agent to make elastic materials with excellent mechanical properties of which elongation can reach to 400%.
