Polyaspartic polyurea technology and its related products were originated from the United States in 1981. The technology was patented by Bayer in 1992. After years of research and development, polyaspartic polyurea materials has been developed from the first generation of aromatic spray polyurea and the second generation of aliphatic spray polyurea to the third generation of polyaspartic polyurea.
Polyaspartic polyurea belongs to premium innovative material, which is a kind of new two-component polyurea material with adjustable curing speed, adjustable rigidity and flexibility, low temperature curing, super weather resistance, environmental protection and high performance. On the one hand, it overcomes the defects such as the reaction rate of spraying polyurea system which is too fast to control, and the adhesion is poor, and the construction depends on large equipment. On the other hand, it also overcomes the defects of the traditional polyurea coating system, such as higher VOCs content, lower temperature curing, and baking equipment auxiliary curing.
Polyaspartic polyurea has many obvious advantages including environmental protection, low VOC, energy saving and emission reduction, weather resistance, high temperature resistance, wear resistance, high thickness of one spraying film, reducing the process, reducing labor costs and so on.
At present, polyaspartic polyurea in the field of coating is used in construction machinery (automobile), containers, fan blades, marine heavy corrosion, high-end industrial and commercial floor coatings. In the adhesive field, it is mainly used in sealant, stone adhesive, electronic adhesive, film circuit packaging adhesive and other high-end fields. In the field of waterproof materials, it is mainly used in hydroelectric DAMS, water parks, building waterproof repair materials and other fields. In the field of structural materials, it is applied to curling track, artificial ice-skating rink and other structural materials.
